I love this collage!  And it seems all of you do, too!  This layout is probably the most popular of our collage options (besides the storyboards).   It is so fun and there are so many different options. Here are just a few:

My Favorite Things

I always love hearing about new items that friends love so I thought I'd start sharing some of my favorite things...starting with my favorite frames, Wild Sorbet.

I've been offering these beautiful hand-made shabby-chic and rustic frames for almost two years now yet my love affair with them has not ended.  And make Wild Sorbet even better, they've recently introduced new colors, included some striped frames and painted ledges!  

I thought I'd share a few images that I borrowed from the Wild Sorbet Blog (with Tana's permission of course!).

This first room is from Dallas, TX photographer,  Jamie Woodward.

This nursery gallery is comprised of two 16x20 frames and one 20x20 in milk chocolate and green apple.  Aren't they just scrumptious?

Here is another nursery option.  This time from the amazing Walden Studio in Tennessee.

This shows one of the new polka-dotted options with wavy chocolate trim.   I love how they included a coordinating pink background with script, don't you?

And here's a fun shot of Wild Sorbet founder, Tana Le May, with Illinois photographer, Sarah Petty,  posing with a beautifully large print framed in raspberry and green apple.

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls?

I'm reading it now and it's an amazing book.  Jeannette Walls grew up with a very unconventional childhood.   To put it nicely, her family was nomadic and creative.  She lived a life  that most of us could not imagine, yet she is now a very successful writer and news contributor.  

I'm only half way through the book (should be reading something else right now for book club - oops!) so although I know she triumphs over her childhood I'm not exactly sure how yet.  I would highly recommend reading this book if you haven't already done so.

Portrait of a High Five in Phoenix

We took the Gila Monster (aka my daughter) out for her first try without training wheels the other night and I captured this "high five" after one of her attempts around the cul-de-sac.

Portrait of a Fun Family, Anthem, AZ

I met this family up in Anthem recently.  I always love doing photography up in this part of Phoenix.  There are the usual cacti and desert landscape but there are also waterfalls, green grass, and beautiful trees.

The "C" family was a blast!  Four year old "M" reminded me alot of my own daughter with her spunkiness.  And little "B" was such a trooper!  I just love his chubby cheeks and big blue eyes!  

Wapner Hour

We scheduled this photoshoot during this little guy's wind-down time, which in his family they call "Wapner hour".  Even though he is teething and was a little tired, he was still the most easy going, content 4 month old...a joy to photograph!  

We had hoped to get some shots with the family's dogs but with it being Wapner hour, decided it would be best to wait for our next session when little "E" is a bit older.
