It's All About the Light

A warning....

Don't ever ask your 7 yr old son to help your 5 yr old daughter with her homework and then leave the room....

O is supposed to memorize her phone number for her preschool class today. I asked H to help his sister. When I came back in, they both proudly showed me the idea that H had to help her. He took permanent blue marker and wrote our phone number up her ENTIRE arm so that she could just glance down to remember it! Ack!!

She is now in the shower with just fifteen minutes left to leave for school as I try to scrub that marker off her arm....and it's not coming off!

What a beauty!

This sweet little girl's mama contacted soon after she knew she was pregnant to schedule her newborn session. Many months later, I was excited to get the call that she had arrived (a few days late!). I had the perfect slot in my schedule to get over to their house when little "K" was only 7 days old.

Fundraising Rummage Sale

For those of you that enjoy finding bargains, I've got a great rummage sale for you this weekend....

The Stetson Hills Moms Club will be holding a rummage sale to benefit Holden Barney. Holden is wonderful six year old (who I've actually had the pleasure of photographing twice!) who has been battling a very strong form of scoliosis. He was recently accepted into the surgical program in San Antonio and will be undergoing VEPTR surgery (Vertical Expandable Prosthetic Titanium Rib surgery).

100% of all the money raised at the rummage sale will be going directly to Holden's expenses!

So, please, if you find yourself with nothing to do this Saturday morning or are just itching to find a great bargain, please drive up to the north-west side of the valley and support Holden!
